The Buena Vista Contin-Tail Rock, Gem, and Mineral Show has been running annually for over 40 years! Each year over 100 gem, mineral, fossil, handmade jewelry, lapidary artists, and rock dealers gather together near the Continental Divide in Buena Vista Colorado to share their wares with the public.
The show always has free parking, free admission, and promises of a fun time for the whole family! We hold the show annually on the 2nd week of August in a beautiful valley with a 360-degree view. As it is Colorado's largest outdoor mineral show, you are sure to find something special from one of the many dealers from around the Country and even the world!
Fun Fact: People always ask where the name Contin-Tail comes from. It is a fusion of the words Continental Divide & Tailgate.
Limited overnight rv and tent dry camping is now available for patrons, you must register first in person or online! Email bvrockshow@gmail.com for information online or inquire on-site. Spaces are limited and first come, first served. Attendee camping without registering first is not allowed.
Well-behaved, non-aggressive pets that are accompanied by a responsible owner are allowed at the show. Pets must be on a leash, this is a county/town law. Be responsible and clean up after your pet.
DO NOT leave pets or children in cars!
This will result in the authorities being called.
